Within a long-term sustainability of the undergone trials, the permanent adoption of electronic tools for civic participation by the public sector, the EU PARTERRE project aim to deploy ICT to enhance the direct participation of citizens, stakeholders and civil society in the decision-making processes regarding spatial planning and environmental assessment. Avventura Urbana is partner together with the Tuscany Region, Tutech Innovation GMBH, the City of Hamburg, Sicily Region, the University of Ulster, the Turun Anmattikorkeakoulu of Turku (Finland) and the Community Council of Voroklini (Cyprus) to provide a complete “turnkey” solution (both technologically and methodologically assessed) to European public authorities wanting to integrate “the wisdom of people” or the “collective intelligence” into spatial planning and strategic environmental assessment processes.

23.09.2011 Making open data real: the first Electronic Town Meeting in Belfast, Northern Ireland
Within the Parterre project - electronic participation tools for spatial planning and territorial development - Friday September 23rd, the first electronic Town Meeting (the second project pilot) organized in Northern Ireland will be held in Belfast to discuss, within the UK Cabinet Office Public Consultation, the implications of open data & open government for Northern Ireland with local stakeholders.
