header_3_line_height=&#8221;1.3em&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2015, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT) commissioned Avventura Urbana to design and implement the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beniculturali.it\/comunicato\/stati-generali-del-turismo-sostenibile-le-conclusioni-museo-nazionale-ferroviario-di-pietrarsa-1-3-ottobre-2015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">States General on Sustainable Tourism<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a three-day participatory event held at the National Railway Museum of the State Railways Foundation in Pietrarsa (Naples). <\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was widely attended by representatives from various sector associations, and involved discussion of topics proposed by seven experts: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cultural heritage as a factor in sustainable development in tourism;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the sustainability of destinations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the new travel economy;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">regional promotion;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mobility and intermodality;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">smart innovation and new professions. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Six final reports were produced at the end of the participatory event, which formed the basis of the Pietrarsa Charter on Sustainable Tourism. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The States General on Sustainable Tourism was a MIBACT event produced by Avventura Urbana.
