Support for the candidacies of the cities of Matera and Ivrea

Avventura Urbana was responsible for supporting the candidacies of the cities of Matera and Ivrea in the area of cultural and tourism development.

In particular, in 2019 Avventura Urbana worked on behalf of Fiera Milano Media SpA to coordinate and produce the opening conference of the Open Culture Festival which took place in Matera as part of the programming for Matera – European Capital of Culture 2019. The aim of the conference was to answer questions about the future of cultural production and its relationship with the main themes of contemporary debate.

For the Municipality of Ivrea, in 2022 Avventura Urbana provided methodological support for the creation of the Town Meeting “22 ideas for the future of the book”, an event that formed part of Ivrea’s candidacy for Italian Book Capital 2022.
