An international citizens’ assembly for the future of the climate

In 2008, Avventura Urbana organised an online town meeting on behalf of the European Commission within the “Ideal-EU: e-participation among European citizens”project.

The Electronic Town Meeting was held simultaneously in Italy (Florence), France (Poitiers) and Spain (Barcelona) to discuss European policies related to climate change. The results of the event were then presented to the Temporary Commission on Climate Change.
