Participatory budgeting: the choice of Turin and Milan

Participatory budgeting is a tool that allows citizens to become involved in drawing up their local authority’s budget, and helps to collectively redefine the use of some of the public resources available to the authority.

Avventura Urbana was commissioned by the City of Turin in 2015 and by the City of Milan in 2016 to carry out the planning and management of the two municipalities’ participatory budgets.
