Designing a “Safe Italy”: round table for solutions

In 2017, Avventura Urbana organised a deliberative event for the Office of the Prime Minister, on the #ItaliaSicura (Safe Italy) project, the mission against hydrogeological instability and for the development of water infrastructure

The event aimed to promote a new model to manage activities intended to mitigate hydrogeological risk, increasing a “dynamic catalogue of good practices”.

Experts were brought in from the professions, companies, academia, public administration and politics to work on a synergistic project consisting of round table discussions.

Using this methodology, participants were asked to discuss the management of hydrogeological risk in Italy with a view to developing models, methods, relationships and visions, inspired by the planning guidelines drawn up by ItaliaSicura.
