EuEngage, bridging the gap between the EU and its citizens

In 2018, the University of Siena chose Avventura Urbana to design and implement a deliberative event on the involvement of EuEngage partners (research institutes and universities from Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Romania and Belgium), with the aim of drafting a position paper to be presented to the European Union.

EuEngage is an international research project within the Horizon 2020 programme which inquired into tensions between the European Union and popular mobilisation at the national level.

The event, called “Scenarios for the future of Europe: bridging the gap”, was held in Brussels at the headquarters of the Open Society Foundation and involved 40 of the main partners and stakeholders.
