Gender audit

Tackling gender inequality requires a deep understanding of its roots, which vary according to local conditions, social norms and organisational structures. Our participatory and inclusive approach brings the gender perspective into planning and organisational processes, in both the public sector and business.

Participatory Gender Audit (PGA)

The Participatory Gender Audit (PGA) is a methodology developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO), designed to assess and improve how gender equality is embedded in organisations. By actively involving staff and stakeholders, the PGA identifies needs, priorities and areas for improvement, fostering an inclusive and gender-sensitive organisational culture.

The benefits of the PGA:

  • embedding gender equality: we help root gender equality in the organisation’s culture;
  • preventing inequality: we identify and address inequalities before they turn into conflict;
  • stronger cohesion: we improve collaboration and trust within the organisation;
  • more effective decisions: we foster inclusive, ongoing dialogue so that choices are more responsive to everyone’s needs.
